Grapes: Pinot Nero.
Vineyard: About 0.8 hectares, aspected southeast on calcareous and clayey soils. Vine density is 3,600 per hectare, trained to the Guyot system.
Harvest: The grapes are picked in August.
Vinification: After the grapes are de-stemmed and pressed, the must is gravity-settled at low temperature and fermented at controlled temperatures in stainless steel.
Notes: This rosé appears a luminous pink. The bouquet is elegant and refined, with a wealth of fruit-rich fragrances, including cherry, raspberry, and plum. On the palate it is dry, full-flavoured, and refreshingly crisp. Its easy drinkability and good body make this rosé a fine wine to enjoy throughout a meal: partner it with antipasti, first courses, poultry and veal, but also with classic seafood preparations.
